Comenius University Bratislava, Support Centre for Visually Impaired Students (partner)

The Support Centre for Visually Impaired Students of the Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia, was founded in the beginning of the 90s. It emerged from a TEMPUS-JEP-project carried out by the SZS. Nowadays it is a well known institution with an international reputation. With the SZS are shared several international activities, student exchange and projects, such as co-operating in the FEDORA-Working Group "Disability and Special Needs", a European wide network in Higher Educational Institutions. Support Centre in Bratislava also takes part at the International Camp on Communication & Cómputers, ICC for VI pupils, which is headed by the SZS and the University of Linz/Austria. It takes place every year in another European country and brings together about 200 VI pupils from up to 20 countries.
